Surrounded by a circle of impressive mountains there is the town of Bolzano, situated in a basin and joined by several picturesque valleys. The Hotel Post is to be found in the district of Gries, just within a few minutes of walking distance from the center.

Thanks to its specific geographic position, South Tyrol's largest town enjoys a mild, mediterranean climate. At the turn of the last century it therefor became the ideal health resort for many visitors.
