Good news - Entry requirements

For entry from EU or Schengen countries, the testing requirement for fully vaccinated or recovered persons will be dropped as of Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

 As of Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the following must be observed when entering the country from EU or Schengen countries:

  • Obligation to register: Before entering the country, the Digital Passenger Locator Form must be completed and proof of registration must be brought in digital or paper form and shown to the police in case of controls.
  • Proof requirement: Upon entry, you must bring the EU Covid digital certificate or an equivalent certificate stating that you are fully vaccinated, cured or tested.

If the person entering the country cannot present an EU Covid digital certificate or an equivalent certificate stating that they are fully vaccinated, cured or tested, the following requirements apply:

  • Isolation period of 5 days.
  • Covid-19 test: submit to a molecular or antigenic test at the end of the 5-day quarantine period.
  • The local Prevention Department of the appropriate health establishment must be notified of entry using this form.
  • Children under 6 years of age are exempt from the requirement to submit a negative Covid 19 test.
