Guncina Walk
The promenade begins in the Gries area, near the center of Bolzano, and extends for about 6 kilometers (you can also take a circular route or head directly to Jenesien).
Along the path, you can admire the charming vineyards, green fields, and picturesque alpine landscapes.
The Guncina Promenade is suitable for everyone, from young people to families and seniors (it is also accessible with strollers or wheelchairs), thanks to its flat and well-maintained path. It is an ideal place for a pleasant and relaxing walk or for jogging surrounded by nature.
During the journey, there are various panoramic viewpoints where you can stop and admire the spectacular views of the city of Bolzano and the Adige Valley. You can also find small equipped areas with benches and tables to enjoy a break or have a picnic outdoors.
The promenade is particularly enchanting during spring and summer when the surrounding nature reveals its full beauty. The vibrant colors of the flowers and the fresh mountain breeze make the experience even more enjoyable.
Furthermore, along the route, there are several dining options such as restaurants and traditional taverns where you can taste local dishes and typical specialties of South Tyrol.
The Guncina Promenade is a true treasure for the residents of Bolzano, and we always recommend it to visitors who want to immerse themselves in nature and enjoy stunning panoramic views.
It is an ideal place to relax, engage in physical activities, and appreciate the beauty of nature near the city.
